Your Other Hands PRESS
Your Other Hands was featured in a 1998 Forbes Magazine article on Entrepeneurial moms.
We made the cover of Woman's World in 2000 as part of their feature on "Working at Home".
In July, 2002 Your Other Hands, a 15 year old child care agency, aquired the childcare division of Any Situation, inc. of Bala Cynwyd. I have considered Helen Tucker, owner of Any Situation, a respected and trusted colleague and am delighted to be entrusted with her very established clientele of nannies and famlies.
Hear are some thing you should know about Your Other Hands and how we work.
Full service in-home childcare, ranging from full and part time permanent live-out care to temporary short-or-long term coverage, emergency sick day, after school, occasional evening and weekend requests, as well as newborn care.
Rigorous screening procedures. Nannies must have two personal interviews and provide a complete work history and extensive personal background information. Six references are contacted and extensivly questioned. Nannies must pass a written childcare test, submit current Criminal History and Child Abuse clearence forms, provide an annual health physical, and be certified in infant and pediatric CPR.
24/7/365 coverage. While we never close, we do ask that non-essential calls and lenghy conversations take place during regular business hours, as we also have families! The after hours line is intended for emergencies only.
Back-up and follow-up services. If you find that a nanny is not a good fit for your family, we will provide new choices until the perfect match is made. You will recieve a follow-up survey to assess how well our nanny is doing with your family.
Our clientele includes: The University of Pennsylvania/ class reunions, The Republican National Convention, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Convention Center, wedding parties, hotels, and family reunions
